I have been testing various environments for nav 2009. here are the results
nav 2009 with sql 2008 r2 and windows 2008 r2 dont work.
nav 2009 with sql 2008 and windows 2008 r2 works. For this to work you must install fixpack from microsoft before you install sql 2008. and after you install sql 2008 you must install sql 2008 sp1.

Companies Making the Move
Many organizations wanting greater efficiencies and an improved ability to manage change are looking to Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions. Connect Service and Payment Services are available now. Sites Service and Commerce Service are expected to be available in the first half of 2010.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer announced at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas a new version of Mediaroom, its technology that delivers TV over the Internet on such services as AT&T Inc.’s U-verse system. The newest version of Mediaroom will let subscribers watch live and recorded TV and video-on-demand on Windows computers and phones and through Xbox 360 consoles, in addition to a set-top box. It will work over regular broadband, not just special fiber connections.
